Myosin Therapeutics Selected for 2026-2027 NCI Investor Initiatives Showcase

PR Newswire

JUPITER, Fla., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Myosin Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing a new class of therapies targeting cancer cell mechanics, today announced its selection as a 2026–2027 National Cancer Institute (NCI) Investor Initiatives Showcase Company.

Molecular Motors to Power Healing

Myosin is one of only 30 companies selected from NCI’s portfolio of funded companies for the 2026–2027 Showcase cohort. Companies were chosen through a competitive private-sector peer review process involving more than 70 third-party investors and strategic partners.

The cohort represents emerging oncology innovators across biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and digital health, including first-in-class therapeutics, cell and immune therapies, radioligand therapies, antibody-drug conjugates, RNA medicines, precision drug delivery, AI-enabled cancer technologies, liquid biopsy and multi-omics platforms. Myosin joins this innovative group with a differentiated approach targeting molecular nanomotors and the physical machinery cancer cells depend on for growth, invasion, and survival.

“We are honored to be selected by NCI for the Investor Initiatives Showcase,” said Courtney Miller, PhD, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Myosin Therapeutics. “NCI has been an important partner throughout the development of MT-125 and their continued support of our differentiated approach to oncology comes at an exciting point for our clinical program.”

Myosin’s lead clinical-stage oncology asset, MT-125, is a first-in-class, brain penetrant dual non-muscle myosin inhibitor in the NCI-supported Phase 1/2 STAR-GBM clinical trial. MT-125 has received FDA Fast Track designation for glioblastoma and Orphan Drug designation for malignant gliomas. GBM provides a capital-efficient entry point to a broader pan-cancer platform spanning solid and hematologic malignancies. Myosin’s molecular nanomotor platform also extends beyond oncology through MT-110, an NIH-supported, IND-stage NMIIB-selective CNS asset.

Selection into the Showcase provides opportunities to present to investors and strategic partners at industry events, and NCI will feature Myosin in its 2026–2027 Showcase Companies Book. This builds upon NCI’s longstanding non-dilutive support of MT-125.
